Ajaya Exports began as a local business in Idukki and parts of Ernakulam, Kerala, specialising in dry food products such as breakfast powders for local stores and canteens. Founded by Mrs. Ajaya, with Mr. Sumeesh's expertise in international hospitality, the company expanded to export pineapples to the Maldives. From an initial shipment of 200 kg, it quickly grew to one ton per week. Ajaya Exports now includes dry products and vegetables in its export portfolio.
